Bethany Hemingway / Staunton Farm Foundation
Bethany Hemingway attended the University of Buffalo (SUNY) and received her B.A. in social sciences interdisciplinary – community mental health. While in Buffalo, she worked with Crisis Services as a Domestic Violence/Rape Advocate, Administrative Assistant at Cornerstone Manor (women’s shelter) and volunteered with Compeer. After leaving Buffalo, Bethany returned to Pittsburgh to receive her M.S.W. specializing in the COSA program. Bethany interned with Peoples Oakland and was offered a part-time job as a grant writer. Bethany then worked with the American Liver Foundation developing and implementing health education programs to the community. After graduating, Bethany worked for Community Alternatives as a Mobile Therapist/Behavioral Specialist Consultant. In 2010, Bethany became the Program Officer for Staunton Farm Foundation.
